Remedies for Anxiety
I have a longstanding chronic problem with insomnia, so I rely on kava heavily to help me fall asleep. I often have trouble falling asleep, but mostly staying asleep. I believe part of the reason I have trouble with sleep is because I have a lot of anxiety and worry, and am very sensitive to stress. I have found that kava is one of the great remedies for anxiety. That is the other reason I love kava, because within 5 minutes of drinking it, my anxiety goes away, and I feel very mellow and happy. Things don’t bother me as much, kind of like you may feel after drinking alcohol.
Anxiety Medicine
I’ve been very happy with the Melomelo kava because it is very potent, and not too expensive. I tried the more expensive brews that you sell, and didn’t find they were any more potent for getting me asleep.
Anxiety Cure
I drink kava as I need it for sleep, so I have it most nights. I usually only need one dose, but if I wake up again, or still can’t sleep (happens occasionally), I will make another brew. I use half cup powder and knead in abt 1 cup warm water for about 10 mins, often less. I save the dregs and use them again for my next dose, along with another lot of dregs (2-3 lots of leftovers to equal one dose first brew) I often add a few droppersful of kava tincture as well, so I get a bit of a rush when it first starts to work. This helps me feel drowsy too.
